The ‘Invisible Decorators’ Glass Scrim’ is only 0.15mm thick as opposed to traditional scrim tapes which are typically 0.67mm thick. This means our mesh has a far lower profile, uses less filler to hide and so dries quicker.

The ‘Invisible Decorators’ Glass Scrim’ doesn’t come with an adhesive on one side, so we recommend the placement of the glass scrim with a water based primer adhesive, such as Peel Stop, Guardz or Zinsser 123.

Our favoured crack treatment would be as follows:

Rake out and V crack.

Apply primer/sealer. Wait to dry.

Fill, wait to dry and sand back.

Apply primer sealer. Whilst still wet apply ‘Invisible Decorators’ Glass Mesh. Wait to dry.

Apply a thin skim of filler, wait to dry and then sand back feathering in edges.

Apply primer, wait to dry and then Paint as normal.
